Is the club available for rent for private parties?

Club members are able to hold private events. The club is not available for rent by the general public.

Do you rent dock space, sailboats, or kayaks to the public?

No.

Do I need to own a sailboat to join?

Owning a sailboat, while strongly encouraged, is not a requirement for membership.

Are memberships per person or per family?

One club membership includes a member, spouse or partner, and children (under the age of 21 or full-time students under the age of 25).

As a member, can I store and launch my powerboat and jet skis there?

No, powerboats and jet skis are not allowed.

Do you offer sailing lessons?

We offer the Spirit of America Premier Youth Boating Education Program to members of the public. The course is limited to children aged 12-15 years old. More details can be found here.

Is the club pontoon boat available to rent?

No, the club pontoon boat is used by our Race Committee only.

If I don't own a sailboat or kayak, can I borrow one?

Club members, with approval, are able to borrow a sailboat from our fleet of loaner boats. The club does not have any club kayaks.
